Kimiho Omae is a Research Scientist in microbiology. He is currently affiliated with RIKEN Pioneering Research Institute, where he works with Chief Scientist Shino Suzuki.
His research focuses on mining microbial genomic data, and performing evolutionary analyses of proteins. In this project, he is responsible for identifying highly efficient sortases and collaborating with research teams at the University of Leeds.
